What types of lessons do you offer? We offer group and private instruction in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and Theatre Arts. Anything Else? We’re glad you asked! We have several group classes available in Theatre, including Musical Theatre for kids, teens, and adults. We offer classes called Music & Motion for ages 3-9 which include piano, voice, ukulele, acting, and dance. It’s a perfect way to find out what your child likes best! We also offer a variety of summer camps for kids. Occasionally we have single class offerings such as a stage makeup class, a night of karaoke, or Sip-n-Strum. What if I want to learn a particular style of music? We will match you with a teacher that can help you reach your goals. A solid foundation will be built and you will be able to add in the styles of music you interested in and work at your own pace. When are lessons held? You will have a lesson each week with a consistent day and time. We have forty-six weeks of lessons or recitals (3) during the year. We are closed six weeks of the year for holidays (spring/fall break, one week in summer, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break). We are closed for July 4th, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. Some months will have four lessons, some five, and some only three. Tuition is the same each month. What do lessons cost? All our group lessons are 60 minutes and the cost is $99 per month. Larger theatre groups are $79 per month. Our private 30-minute lesson cost is $109 per month. Our private 60-minute lesson cost is $207 per month. Are there other costs? There is a onetime $35 registration fee upon enrollment. Additional family members can be added with a $15 registration fee. Your book and music fees are included in your tuition up to $50 per year. This is usually enough for beginners. If you are moving quickly and need more music, the price will be charged to your account. Do you offer any discounts/incentives? There is a 10% discount for additional classes or additional family members taking lessons. We occasionally offer incentive contests throughout the year. We also offer incentives for referring your friends and family to the studio. How are payments made for lessons? All payments are set up to be paid by auto-draft on the first of each month. You may set this up to auto-draft your checking account or a credit or debit card. Your registration fee and first month may be paid by check, cash, or credit card in the studio. This payment must be received to secure your lesson day and time. What happens if I need to miss a lesson? We understand that things come up and sickness happens. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be out. You will be issued a makeup credit for your missed lesson. Makeup lessons are offered one or two weekends each month in group format. You can call the studio to register for the next makeup lesson. Your credit will never expire. If you can’t make it to this month’s lesson, you can schedule for next month. What if my teacher has to miss the lesson? In the event your teacher is ill or needs to miss your lesson, you will be assigned a substitute teacher for the lesson or we will call you to reschedule at a later time when your teacher is available. Can I take off for the summer months? We teach lessons year-round and our teachers are employed all year. You can take off for the summer, but we cannot guarantee that your day and time or your teacher will be available when you are ready to return. It is a better choice to keep your spot and use makeup credits when you need to miss. What if I need to discontinue lessons? There is no long-term contract for lessons at our studio. If you need to discontinue lessons, simply contact the studio by the 15th of the month to let us know so that we can turn off the auto-draft payment on your account. I’m ready to enroll! What’s the next step? Call the studio and let’s find an available time for your lesson. We can reserve that spot with just a few steps over the phone and then you can come in to fill out the registration form at your convenience.
